Dr. John McLaren, known as Dr. John, is a proud Ann Arbor native and a distinguished graduate of the University of Michigan. His academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science Engineering (BSE) and a Doctoral degree in Dental Surgery (DDS), where he earned the second position in his graduating class and was honored with induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary society.

Dr. Charles McLaren (Dr. Charles) grew up in Ann Arbor, MI and received his bachelor’s degree (B.S.E.) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan. His dental degree (D.D.S.) and his master’s degree in restorative dentistry were also from the University of Michigan. Dr. Charles has a background in dental materials and restorative dentistry, with a clinical interest in the area of cosmetic dentistry and all-ceramic restorations.

Dr. Melissa Janos, B.S., D.D.S. is honored to serve Midland and the surrounding communities in the heart of Michigan. A native of West Bloomfield, she graduated summa cum laude from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Mathematics, then earned her D.D.S. from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she received the Comprehensive Care Award. Dr. Janos enjoys all aspects of general dentistry—especially cosmetic care, oral surgery, pediatrics, prevention, and patient education—and also offers Botox® and dermal fillers to help patients feel confident in their smile and appearance. Outside the office, she enjoys tennis, gardening, kayaking, and spending time in Northern Michigan.

Dr. Devan Moody, B.S., D.D.S. is proud to serve Midland and the surrounding communities in the heart of Michigan as part of the team at McLaren Dental Associates. He earned his dental degree at the University of Michigan and was selected as a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship recipient, reflecting his commitment to helping patients in communities with limited access to care.
